The Gubu Band is a collective of independent musicians and songwriters from around the world who have come together through Kitharode Music to contribute their ideas and playing to this catalogue of songs.
The gestalt is art/punk/blues/rock, and it doesn't matter if it gets a little weird or psychedelic, as long as it keeps your heart and your dancing feet engaged!
Adrian Wall
Adrian Wall is a vocalist and songwriter whose lyrical style is firmly rooted in the Irish literary tradition of cross-rhyming and assonance, and the use of imagery and symbols to convey a deeper, sometimes hidden, meaning to the audience. Musically, he draws on a range of influences including Irish folk, rock n’ roll, Americana, and even electronica and dance music.
He is currently working on a small catalogue of songs that he hopes will establish him as a unique voice within the long heritage of Irish Music.
